Hurricane Mitch Storm Surge Height

I have read that Hurricane Mitch produced storm surge in Central America and Florida. I wonder what is the highest storm surge from Mitch in Central America. I read 12 feet. It sounds possible Mitch produced higher storm surge in Honduras.
