What made the 1974 tornado outbreak different from others?

Image YOU see this setup with any other severe weather outbreak... Why did this one cause so many violent tornadoes?
If that is a setup for a 1974 outbreak I guess we are going to see one tomorrow because the Nam 24hours is showing thisImage :roll: :roll:

You foreshadowed the modern era Super Outbreak on April 27th...which I'm not sure was but close to. The date was just a bit off.

The map posted only provided a small chunk of the information required to gauge how bad a tornado outbreak might be. There is a lot more information like wind shear, moisture, lapse rates, instability, etc. that comes into play.
