Storm2k Down Intermittently

#1 Postby hurricanes1234 » Thu Oct 24, 2013 8:08 pm

Everyday for the past two weeks or so, Storm2k will be temporarily down during the day. When the page is clicked, it will either say:

1. Invalid URL
2. 404 Not Found
3. Down - Paypal

What does this mean? Is Storm2k currently giving trouble? Any answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Down - Paypal?

I haven't had any issues but it will go offline once a day for a few minutes while the database is backed up. This is usually early in the morning, EST.

I'm not sure if it's just my tablet, but I think I've experienced it on other computers as well. It usually happens late in the night.

If the outage is around 1:15 am EDT, it happens every day. The site goes down for a few minutes of "maintaince" related activities (backing the database up, etc). Sometimes this outage does not occur at exactly 1:15 am (I've seen it done as late as 3 am on occasion - assuming the host server was having issues that particular day). Generally, though, it happens like clockwork around 1:05 to 1:15 am EDT. Nothing to worry about, though I do wonder how you had a Paypal error pop up?

Its 2:15 am EDT for me. I'd say between 2:05 - 2:20 am EDT.

Outages seem to be getting more frequent and longer. Several hours yesterday and on another day within the last week or two.

Performance is still slow and flaky. Still getting Internal Server Errors and very slow page loads.
