It loads as a java applet.....and then it has a warning box, saying the application's digital signal has an error.

I'd suggest downloading mirc from http://www.mirc.com and then once in the program connecting to server irc.stormdancing.net and then joining the channel storm2k .. Much more reliable than java

Ok...downloaded MIrc. Still can't connect. Grrrrrr....thanks for all the help though. I don't know what it could be, last year I got in fine.
