BOB: INVEST 93B

It has been a while that this Bay of Bengal basin has been without a invest until now.

Come on! There is still no tropical cyclone in the north Indian Ocean in 2012. :eek:

i think the north indian ocean especially BOB can support storms all year round but wind shear dominates this basin...

I've wondered why there seems to be so little activity in this basin. Where does the shear come from? Is it a constant pattern in this area of the world?
