I would not send the recon based upon the fact that this will likely be a very weak low. Too much shear in the path to pose a significant threat to Hawaii

NHC AOR storms can get recon in the USA even when thy are weak.

Hawaii is a state too.

They're not gonna needs the funds.

While I'm really skeptical about this actually impacting Hawaii, SHIPS keeps shear low until Friday and water temps near 28C.

SHIPS isn't showing a track, so I really don't know what to expect.
