Since one hour, numerous ligthings, strong showers, thunder are observed near Basse-Terre given observations from friends in this area.
Nothing special in my location for the moment... some showers, isolated rumbling of the thunder , also lightnings.

Hi my Msbee :) :D  That's surprising, let's hope that rain could reactivate during the next hours and spread more north towards your area... And even in Guadeloupe amount are not really impressive but slightly sufficient to take minor breath for now. May be the next hours could bring more rain, we will see, keeping our fingers crossed.

Here is the latest report related to rainfall in Guadeloupe related to TS Danny

Le Raizet (airport station): 37,5 milimeters

Anse-Bertrand: 15,1 millimeters

Viard Sainte-Rose: 39,3 millimeters

Bellevue Pointe-Noire: 45,1 millimeters

Terre de Haut ( Les Saintes): 19 millimeters

Grand Bourg ( Marie-Galante): 10 millimeters

Maximum Wind gust: 58km/h at la Désirade

Good news my friends :)! :woo:
Guadeloupe have back off the orange alert, return to yellow alert for a risk of strong showers and thunderstorms. Maybe a return in green code this afternoon if things improved more quickly.
Danny was a kind little boy even if he showed us briefly its teeth as a dangerous cat 3 cane
Fortunately and thanks to Lord, the butterfly island of Guadeloupe seems to be often spared. Should this trend continue because of 98L is churning at the horizon while we lack of decent amount of water. Whereas, i hope sincerely that the others carib friends will get some big rains from a next rainmarker. Thirsty we are, please give us some beneficials rains!
