If this strengthens more than expected, it could make the Gulf/Western Caribbean ULL stronger via a binary interaction. That would have major implications on the steering and shearing of Matthew. Something to watch for sure.

in my dreams one of these storms would stay intact long enough moving northward to give the 34N 119W area some good heavy rain. im tired of dying of heat and looking and dried lakes and parched land. would take a katrina esque storm to knock out the drought in one fell swoop
