Hope you put the plywood up and evacuated to shelter. This could be "the big one" :) Big Bad alberto. Good thing he wasn't powerful hurricane. I highly doubt he was 60mph or anything close to that at landfall. Nowhere did I see winds above 30-40mph sustained. Not even all that much rain. barely 4 inches here and we got alot of it compared to the rest of the southern pennisula from big bend down.

Could be nasty up this way...Flood Watches are up and Hatteras could see a 60 mph wind due to the low interacting with a baroclonic feature and strengthening the "gale" center....

:uarrow:

I was in clearwater owntown at that time I sure didnt feel no winds that high but maybe that was on the beaches more on the coast.

Wow this board went from crazy busy to a ghost town just as alberto made landfall. Amazing :) Should be easier to navigate now though. Wait until beryl now.

Cedar Key - At least 49mph (reported by TWC)

I saw 58mph but I'm questioning it for now, I know Mark Sudduth had 44mph.

I hope I get some rain out of this, we could use some

It's now extratropical.

While not in the forecast, I wouldn't be completely shocked to see it become a tropical or subtropical storm once again over the Gulf Stream.

Alberto's dry side is over me, just clouds. you could feel the humidity jump up over the past 24 hours. We have a nasty thunderstorm heading my way but it is unrelated to Alberto

Hmm, the low in the center of the Atlantic on this map, could that be ex-Alberto?
