Too early to say that... cone extends from New Orleans to the BOC. Due west from the 5-day position would have a landfall near the TX/MX border... but that's out there. We gotta get it through/past Florida first.

Ready for the Greek alphabet yet?

At this rate, we'll get to the Greek alphabet before October begins.

Uhh... dud season cancel? YES! There are three systems and likely more out there! This season was never a dud to begin with!

Looks like a resurgance of the Cape Verde Season may be occurring possibly.

I think we have to watch to make sure the storm does indeed make that west turn. The 1st forecast is always going to most likely change.

Worse Case Scenario, Major hurricane slams south florida or keys, Phillipe goes north, ridge builds and forces it west, East Coast major hurricane at North Carolina or so. System near Cape Verdes develops into Stan in a couple of days, goes into gulf or up the East Coast as a major hurricane, a bit far'fetched, absolutely-possible, yes-likely-no.

I've never seen the EPAC and the Atlantic busy at the same time though, usually one's busy and the other is dead.
