Don't be too sure. October and November are usually when the Philippines get struck by powerful typhoons. Oddly enough, during these 2 months, typhoons often strike the Philippines in pairs.

Hopefully, the Philippines won't have a repeat of 1970 when Super Typhoons Georgia, Joan, Kate, and Patsy slammed into the Philippines in a 3 month period. Joan struck only a day after Kate!
