Taking a look at the page there, it does not have any prior records of 91L on the page

It has gone downhill but who wouldn't if it's moving at hyper speed over an area that is not all that favorable for development. I think we should be watching the wave behind and leave this one until it enters the Caribbean Sea.

It does have one. Look under Atlantic Ocean Basin, and its the 4th one.

Yup, your right, just skipped right over that one lol

Anyway, i agree that this has no chance to develop until it slows down and gets further west

"better organized today?"

#12 Postby Weatherboy1 » Sun Aug 01, 2004 5:29 pm

I saw that the 5:30 TWO said that 91 looked better organized today. I'm not sure I agree with that. The convection was relatively minimal all day and it didn't seem as obvious to me that there was a surface low in visible sat. imagery. Yesterday, I think you could clearly see one at the E edge of the convection. In fact, I'm pretty surprised they ran the tropical models on this thing. I'd love to be wrong, but this just doesn't look too promising to me -- at least, for now. Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and see a ?TD already! :)

All it needs to do is get a bit futher west then it should have a better chance to develop. Also once it slows down a little.
