Looks like the eye is still about 5 miles wide.

The heavy squall is now setting up right over Houston. This looks to be Houston's worst flood since Allison and maybe ever.

Arw through 48 hours. I believe it is handling this storm the best with banding. Disaster written all over it.

North West San Antonio here. Near 1604 and Potranco. I woke up because of something banging around outside, no idea where it's coming from. Still no major rain but the wind seems to be about 15-20 mph. I'm sure it will start getting worse up here soon. But most of the rain will be about 20 miles to my East.

3.26?! :double:

I've never personally seen PWATs that high, to my knowledge, and this is in a region where it's not terribly uncommon to see them at 2.5 or so, especially in spring and summer.

I can only imagine the severity of the damage in Rockport, TX and the surrounding towns. I imagine it's comparable to Andrew and Charley. Harvey brought sustained Cat 4 winds to those cities for hours.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

It looks as if Harvey is beginning to slowly drift north on radar or my eyes are deceiving me. The inner core still remarkably in tact.. Harvey is literally crawling.

Victoria, TX is getting the worst of the wind and rain at this time.

Your eyes aren't deceiving you. Look at the official coordinates. It's been at 97.2W since 3 CDT.
