Can't remember exactly where. I think I found it just surfing for hurricane info during the 2004 season...this was after being stuck at my in-law's house for four days after being evacuated from ours! :lol:

Google Search during early formation of Hurricane Isabel. Been here ever since, esp. during heavy snowstorms in the MidWest and Hurricanes. Love the discussion. Am learning all the time.

I'm an old hang-over from the Hurricane Hollow site and its previous association with Barometer Bob. Once-upon-a-time, if I recall correctly, the two sites linked to one another...... I have not been to that "other site" since ~August of 2004!!

2004 Season - Was searching for info on the tropics and storms, because I wanted more accurate info. I think I found it through Hurricane Hollow.

I googled something or other while Charley was in the Carib and found you that way. My introduction to the board was reading the recon as he bombed out and then bobbled east for an early land fall. I've been back every hurricane season since, though I mostly just lurk. :)

I don't remember what we were, just a bunch of weather watchers. Anyone remember Gator and Erin? Gator and I used to write crazy stories (during the off season) lol just for kicks. We had to run from trolls and had a secret room with the password Hostess?? I It was a crazy time. Then things got organized and they made their own forum and it grew and grew. This has become such a wonderful sometimes lifesaving forum for so many! Due in a large part to the quality of our members and especially the people who work so hard to upkeep this site. Although I do miss having a secret password....*sigh* Ticka..now that IS a blast form the past.
