$2 A GALLON ALERT!

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Tue Mar 23, 2004 3:03 pm

I don't know if any of you have seen your gas prices hit 2 dollars a gallon yet even for Premium.. but I saw it for the 1st time this morning..

At a Shell station in Kissimmee, just outside of St. Cloud.. this is what it read

Regular $1.82 per gallon
Plus: $1.89 per gallon
Super $2.00 per gallon

Glad I only take the bus or ride a bike.. The gas is too expensive.. Anyone else seen $2 a gallon yet?

This greedy oil companies are the problem; they have always been. I think it is about time that we look for another source for fuel. It will help the environment and put these d**n oil companies out of business.

I'm lucky to find $1.83 or $1.84 around here, usually about $1.87

But there is always the reservation if things get tight. They are at $1.67, but I question the quality of their gas.... my van was having problems until I switched to the white man's gas :)

$1.85/gal for premium here...I'm glad the warm weather is here. I'll be on the Suzuki unless it rains.

I just snuck in under $1.62 at noon today. My car takes regular gas and gets at least 33 MPG, so that's a relief! If not for the radio and the numerous errands I was running today, I probably wouldn't have filled up the tank until tomorrow. I wouldn't have known prices were going up here as much as 25 cents a gallon!

Been paying $2.14 to $2.34 here for at least the last six weeks. Can find some unleaded for about $1.94 if you look real hard and empty your tank driving to it.
