Printers Are About To Get Much Faster

#1 Postby abajan » Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:07 pm

Have you guys seen these videos before? Man, those printers are fast! This Memjet technology seems set to shake up the printer industry in a BIG way.

As soon as they come on the market (hopefully soon), I'm getting one. IMHO the advantages as just to good to ignore.

Computers were originally supposed to create a paperless office. In reality all they do is enable us to create more paper faster.

And the faster you make it, the less valuable is the information on the paper.

How many times have you heard: "We're having a meeting. Print out 20 copies of the agenda and documents A, B, and C." Ten people show up, and all copies end up in the recycle bin after the meeting. You then get a written record of the meeting by email, and you print it out and make extra copies for your subordinates who promptly put them in the trash.

Are you spying on my office?
There is a tree waiting for each of us when we die.
