You can tell that Ms. Abrams would be fun at a party.
I've thought about it, and its all hypothetical, I am married to a teacher. But being married to a TWC met, while semi-cool, has the drawback of having to live in Atlanta. And it isn't like you go to the studio all that often. And, it appears the on camera mets are basically script readers. In the early days, a fair number of the on-air mets weren't even mets. Jeanetta Jones, if y'all remember the 80s, was a TV anchor woman with no met training. Now, if a hypothetical wife worked at TPC or SPC, she'd do exciting work, and could bring some home with her. At least the stories. TPC has the obvious advantage of being someplace warm almost year round, with ethnic food and beaches.
Now, the best job in the world for a wife to have is a football or NASCAR sideline or pit reporter. Then the lucky husband probably gets lots of travel, and free admission to major sporting events. I frequently have this thought on Saturday afternoons during NCAA football season. I mentioned it to Mrs. Mahmoud once, she wasn't impressed, I keep my thoughts to myself. This past summer, Wendy Venturini married an engine specialist for Joe Gibbs Racing, and I thought, kind of a waste, he already gets to go to the track every week. Maybe she was careful to find a man who didn't love her just for her pit reporter job at SPEED.
