Orionid meteor showers......

We recently spent a week on the north shore of St Croix. Tuesday night I was up late, regretting our pending return when I noticed a flash in the sky. Spent the next 3 hours watching the most spectacular show in the night sky. At first I figured it must be normal and was just the result of being away from the influence of artificial light. When we finally returned to the world and watched the news we discovered what had been happening. I now understand why they built a wide array telescope on St Croix. I wanna go back.
