bright flash over Texas on Friday

I am hearing what may be a rumor, of a bright flash of light across the Texas sky Friday morning. I have heard that this may have been a piece of the shuttle that fell off before it's re-entry attempt on saturday. It was supposed to have been on the radio? Anyone else hear about this. If this is true maybe it may help solve what happened? I am hearing this from several people but can't confirm if it's legit. HELP!!!! Either way it doesn't matter because those poor astronaunts are gone. God bless them and there families.
