Could It Be We're Finally Coming to Our Senses?

Well, whaddya know! Looks like people are slowly starting to realize what I've believed all along: Smartphones aren't a necessity. Seriously, they're not. We can actually survive without them! (I'm 51 going on 52. Perhaps that's why they never caught on with me.

I've never had a smartphone and certainly have no plans to get any. My trusty feature phone can make and receive calls and even send and receive text messages. Imagine that! It has a handy torchlight too and it's as tough as a Sherman tank. If it drops on solid concrete, I can practically guarantee it'll work afterward. Can you say that about your phone? CAN YOU?
