One of our staff members Portastorm is undergoing a heart procedure Tuesday. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Will definitely be praying for him to pull through this procedure with flying colors, and for his family.

I will post as soon as I know something. He indicated it was a routine procedure and that there shouldn't be any problems.

My deepest gratitude for all the good thoughts and prayers sent my way. Am home now recovering and it appears the procedure (catheter ablation) was successful. Admittedly it appears it's gonna take a week or two before I'm back to normal as the work done was extensive. So ... thank you everyone for being there for me!

The procedure itself wasn't a big deal ... but the recovery thing is kicking my butt right now! Somehow I had it in my head that I would be up and around and normalized within several days of being released from the hospital ... knucklehead that I am.

Portastorm,
recently I was in the hospisital for my thyroid problem, and when they let me go home, they would not let me drive for over six weeks, I got the go ahead to drive, after I saw the doctor again for a check up.
