Career Question: Meteorology

#1 Postby Tampa Bay Hurricane » Wed Jul 26, 2017 2:54 am

I am passionate about meteorology and want to do research meteorology studying severe thunderstorms and tropical cyclones. I am going to do a masters in meteorology at MSU since my bachelors was in an unrelated field. What is the job field like for research meteorology? I know NWS is very competitive.
