Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of hurricane Alex destruction on NE Mexico, I'm always impressed by this vídeo showing the Santa Catarina river destroying downtown Monterrey, this is how torrential rain by a tropical Cyclone affect the interior cities in a country, that river is dry part of the year and when it has water it's not that much. I remember that day, I was 11 years old and it seemed the rain wasn't going to stop, many days without water and energy in my house, many people death, mudslides everywhere, by far the worst natural disaster on the city history. I still don't understand why this name was not retired after all
