Non essential diplomats and families to leave Middle East...

#1 Postby wx247 » Fri Feb 07, 2003 8:55 pm

This is the latest that just came off the wire here. It applies to those non-essential diplomats and their families in Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. It also urges all U.S. citizens in these countries to leave ASAP.

In addition, a travel warning has been issued urging U.S. residents to "stay away" from Iraq and is closing its Polish office in Baghdad, which was for consular service to Americans, citing the likelihood of cutting off U.S. relations with Iraq.

It won't be long now...we may not make it till the first of March.

The UN Inspectors will have to be withdrawn before the action starts.
