#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Feb 01, 2005 7:39 am

How many different countries have you traveled to and what was you favorite? Let's see:

Mexico
Italy
France
Egypt
Yugoslavia
Spain
St. Thomas, Virgin Islands ( I know this is a part of the U.S.)

I would have to say Italy was my favorite, I went to Rome on Easter Sunday of 1978, Pompeii, Naples, Florence, Vinece......GREAT place to visit and the FOOD was FANTASTICO! Cairo Egypt was VERY interesting, saw the pryamids, the Museum in Cairo, saw ALL the mummies etc, pretty COOL!

Ive been to Mexico and Hawaii, which isnt another counrty, but its a long flight... Hawaii was awsome!! My hubby worked for Continental Airlines at the time we went to Hawaii, and we rode 1st class on a 777 for my birthday! It only cost us 100.00 for both round trip, plus we had friends in the Air Force, so we strayed with them... they were our tour guides... That vacation only cost us 500.00 for everything!

I have never been out of the US. I would, however, love to visit Greece, England and Italy.

When I was younger and we traveled to Florida, I used to think that if I swam out far enough, I'd be in international waters and, therefore, no longer in the US (so I could say I'd traveled outside the country). Found out it was easier just to drive across the border. :)

So, my list:
Mexico (4 times)

Just Canada (if you don't count the many areas in the US I've been to....LOL). I have traveled some, just not out of our country much! But to Canada twice though (loved it up there).
