Don't worry, this story has a good ending. Still, I can't imagine what this 11 year old was thinking or how he's been raised up until this point! Go get your mom or dad, if a crying baby is annoying you, you don't just throw him out the window!

Police: Boy Threw Baby Out Window
Police say an 11-year-old boy confessed to throwing a baby out a window because the baby was crying while the boy was trying to sleep.
The incident happened early Sunday morning at a house on Dorchester Avenue in Mt. Auburn.
The 11-year-old boy has been charged with assault, for allegedly tossing one-year-old Lavonte Clark out a third floor window in a stairwell.
Police say Lavonte suffered only a bump on the head and a few scratches because bushes broke his fall, and he landed in soft mud.
"If the bushes weren't outside the detective said I would have been identifying his body," said Lavonte's mom, Lawanda Clark. "But with the bushes right there they said that's what saved him. They also said the angels followed him all the way down. Amen to that," she said.
Police say the 11-year-old, the one-year-old and an adult were all sleeping in the same bedroom when it happened.
Police say there were up to 20 people inside the home, but they were all apparently asleep at the time of the incident.
A cousin called 911 after the baby was found crawling around outside the home around 5 a.m. Sunday.
"The juvenile confessed the baby started crying and he woke up and as a result became frustrated and threw the baby out the window," said Cincinnati Police Lieutenant Paul Broxterman.
The 11-year-old is now in the custody of a guardian and will appear in juvenile court at a later time.
Cincinnati police and Social Services continue to investigate but at this time no adults have been charged.

Miss Mary
My husband and I discussed this story while walking the dog. For one thing, it was reported there were 20 people in this house. Next the boy isn't listed as the brother. Lots of extended family members it sounded like to us. And it was reported the mother wasn't in the house at the time. So all in all, it sounds like these children were not being watched carefully (even though there were all these people in the house at the time?). Something's not adding up. Sad story but we're also so glad the baby is alright.
