I started a new thread about the Iran Nuclear standoff because I see things heating up starting next week when this matter will be discussed at the UN Security Council.Already in several occasions President Bush has said that all options are on the table and that includes the military option.Let's see what will occur in the comming days and weeks with this as it is happening at the same time the North Korean nuclear standoff heats up too with the posibility that they will do a test.

I hope that this Iran Standoff does not turn bad because Oil will spike up bigtime as Iran may block the Straits of Hormuz to all ships as a measure they can take if economics sanctions are impossed to them.

The oil doesn't bother me at all (I wish more people would say that). I'm more worried about the fact this could end with an armed conflict.

Iran New Threats

We have to watch this Iran standoff as it can heat up rapidly if they continue to talk tough about not stopping the nuclear program.

Take out the puppet master, NK.

Why we are going after their stooge is beyond me. Iran has beenr eceiving much of their technology from NK. Take them out, cut off Iran's supplies and this may be over faster. But if we leave NK, we can take out Iran, and they can find another country to do business with (not saying that we should not eventually take out Iran, but not until after or concurrent with NK)

Take out NK and Iran cannot give arms to Chavez, as they will not have any

Interesting news here about the U.S exporting spare parts for their airlines despite the nuclear standoff situation.

Equipment is on the way for the possible conflict. It will be there in the next couple of weeks but I doubt you will see anything start before the election.

Of course in the book Babylon falls, and since Babylon lies on 7 hills and is Roma then I guess it is the Roman Empire that falls. So the End is Happened. End Timers tend to rectify this by focusing on either the European Union or the United States (with our strong Roman heritage).

I'm afraid I don't see the connection.

1973 years in the waiting. World doesn't look like it will be made to work under any one man or system for a loong time. Still waiting, hurry up!

Iran will not back down

Read what Iran's president said today about not backing down on building nuclear weapons.

More Iran threats to Israel

Iran is looking for Israel to be mad and take unilateral military action.

and what if we take out Iran

NK can just go to Chavez in Venezuela and we'll have the same problem

The source of the problem needs to be dealt with, not just the symptom

U.S says to Russia=Punish Iran

Russia and Iran are very close allys and that is why Condi Rice said that statement you can read at link above to the Russians.

Russia will block sanctions to Iran at U.N

But Russia will not allow sanctions to Iran when the Security Council meets next week.

The US is using the UN to sanction the world and in the same way, to control the world. If you're doing chemical weaponry, then how you are going to tell anyone else, don't do it!!! We all know that Iran could be helping terrorist groups, but there is no evidence of any kind of aggression toward the US. All these sanctions are just making the Iranian people more angry, and keeping the nuclear testing project afloat. I don't think sanctions are going to work, but cooperation and common understanding between the countries.
