Based on buoys to the southwest of the cirulation there appears to be a southwest wind. So this thing looking pretty good. Darn it for not becoming a named system.

Lots of convection building further north of the Yucatan although I don't see any circulation there.

Surface pressure at buoy 42002 is high but the wind is out of the NE.

I think this is very close to being TD6. They should send out a recon...especially with land in the way...

You can't just send recon out without plenty of lead time. We're talking about the crew's safety here.

Don't worry... satellite and surface obs will do the job.

doesn't that blob coming off the Yucatan usually more inland and later in the day before it fires up?
