I'm glad that some of you are getting beneficial rains - I just hope it's not too much, too soon and it's just running off.

It's great to see the regulars and the "lurkers" posting their obs here. :D

I wish I had some obs. to post, but I'm too far inland. :(
We really needed some rain here in the Piedmont.

I got a total of 6.00 inches of rain on my rain gauge and a minimum pressure of 1012.1 millibars (mine is always a millibar or two high). Apparently, my 6.00 inches is fairly close to being valid:

SPOTTERS AND OFF DUTY WEATHER SERVICE EMPLOYEES IN MOREHEAD CITY...BEAUFORT AND HARLOWE HAVE REPORTED MEASURING BETWEEN FOUR AND SIX INCHES OF RAIN SINCE THE EVENT BEGAN.

Here in Corolla...NADA...it got windy around midnight last night, maybe a few drops of rain, but otherwise we got nothing much. Which I'm grateful for because we had a gorgeous day by the pool yesterday! LOL!!!
