Since there understandably in the near term does not appear to be too much interest in the NOAA Mission out in the storm now, and it is getting close to done anyways, I'll post this link from my site that allows you to see live HDOBs from the storm:

Did they take off for a mission? Someone recently posted two reconnaissance observations (data sets) in the main obs thread. The date (on the header) says September 16, 2007. Could it be a test flight?

Position of the center from the latest advisory is shown as a red cross.
Remember that plane is flying on 650 hPa level, so the wind directions shown are not the directions on sea level.

Don't know where that 35kt SFMR came from, but the general circulation around Ingrid seems a whole lot less than 35 kts with convection 120 miles east of the center. Ships/buoys in the area indicate closer to 5-15 kts at 90-100 miles from the center.
