Here in gulf breeze it's rained about 3 times this afternoon, the longest was 15 minutes, which just ended. The wind was stronger before it transitioned to tropical. We should get more rain as the evening goes on,at least I hope we do!But all in all it has been a very uneventful storm-not that I'm complaining!

3:00am in Fairhope we have had either no rain or very little. The wind is barely blowing right now at my house. I wonder if we will get rain on Saturday from it though.

Try this and see if it works; if it works it might answer your question. This link is to the Mobile, Alabama NWS radar site which should give you an idea as to whether or not you might expect to see any rain later today or not. I hope the link works for you.

Well, beachbum, looks like y'all over there in Fairhope are getting some rain now. Not a whole lot to be worried about, though. Here's the latest short term forecast from Mobile NWS:
SHORT TERM FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL
657 AM CDT SAT SEP 22 2007
.NOW...
THE CIRCULATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION
NUMBER TEN WILL MOVE WEST AT 12 MPH ACROSS WESTERN GREENE AND PERRY
COUNTIES OF INTERIOR SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI THROUGH 900 AM. GUSTY
WINDS UP TO 25 OR 30 MPH...IN ADDITION TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS...WILL
BE NOTED NEAR THE CENTER OF THE CIRCULATION AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE
TOWARD THE WEST.
LOOKING TO THE EAST OF THE CIRCULATION CENTER...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS
BANDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTHWARD FROM THE GULF OF
MEXICO...MOVING NORTH ACROSS MUCH OF THE WESTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE
AND A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST ALABAMA. THIS ACTIVITY WILL SPREAD
GRADUALLY WESTWARD THROUGH DAYBREAK...BRINGING LOCALIZED RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO AROUND 35 MPH.
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF ISOLATED TORNADOES WITH SOME OF THE
STRONGER STORMS WITHIN THE BANDS OF SPIRAL BANDS FORMING OVER THE
GULF AND MOVING ONSHORE ACROSS SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND THE WESTERN
FLORIDA PANHANDLE.
$$

The radar (http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=MOB&product=NCR&overlay=11101111&loop=yes) shows the rain not moving much--- and the storms seem to be weakening. All in all, good news!

It is raining but not hard over here in Fairhope. No lightening or winds. The winds are barely blowing as of right now. It looks like there is some more coming in from Pensacola and the Gulf so I guess we will have to wait and see what happens later. Not near as bad as I thought it would be.

If I didn't have radar or satellite, I would have no idea that the depression was just north of here now. Absolutely no wind, no rain, quite still, and overcast.

Niceville 41- Choctaw 34

Kickoff was about the same time TD 10 was making landfall about six miles south of there. Nice to see a storm mild enough that you can still get the games in.

The weather right now looks worse than it has for the last two days in Fairhope. The wind is even blowing around 20mph out of the east according to weatherbug. Strange how we had a good bit of sunshine this morning and now this.

Yeah beachbum. We just came back from Lillian and ran through a real heavy storm when we left to come home. It was the heaviest rain I've seen yet from this system!
