LOL, I see (posted in the other thread) we have a slight risk of tornadoes too. I was expecting the upgrade sometime today.

I wonder how bad the wind is near floridas east and southeast
coast if it is this gusty on the west coast!!!! It must
be crazy!!

Hey eastcoasters post some surf pictures or obs or wind

I think this is the same tropical wave that produced 97L a week
ago-- but I am not sure.

SHIPs intensifies this to a 40 knot subtropical
or tropical storm in 24 hours

FYI -- NWS Miami's latest AFD makes mention of a potential surface low NE of Andros Island in the Bahamas. The discussion talks about the low- and mid-level circulation centers lining up/stacking over the next day or so, which would be the first step toward more development, in my opinion...

My office is near the beach in Fort Pierce but as it figures I did not bring my camera today. The winds and the surf though are definitely up. Not a good day for boating! I am posting a link to the webcamera at Jensen Public Beach in Martin County, just down the coast from me.
