I suppose in many ways its lucky it didn't occur a little to the west where the population density is somewhat higher.

Chalk yet another earthquake event for 2010 that affected a good number of people. The main worry with this one is could this set off the "big one" in California similar to a fore-shock. I doubt it but you never know.

There are videos of swimming pools sloshing water around all over the place which is unusual because I don't recall other events that got very much footage of that type of thing. There has already been more then a few shown.
