Solar Tides Caused by the Planets

#1 Postby gigabite » Tue Apr 12, 2011 7:13 pm

Relationships with Rmin and Rmax of observed sunspot cycles.
It has long been observed that the times of sunspot minima and maxima vary from cycle to cycle
in relation to regularly spaced timing points derived by averaging observed cycle lengths over an
extended period. Various mechanisms have been studied as possible causes. In this section of the
current study we investigate possible correspondences between the observed dates of Rmin and Rmax
with the nearest low and high points respectively of the planetary tidal influences.
