They mentioned earlier the center was wobbling around.
I think it's possible Hanna will be upgraded by 11 if not sooner.

What site is this image from? I really like viewing this one the best.
(We're in Flood Warning, Hurricane Watch & Tornado Watch, but, dare I say- it's been awfully quiet around here lately)

Its been to quiet I live about 70 miles to the S of you and the max wind gust we had is about 25mph, and they were expecting it to reach 60mph peak gust this evening.

Hard to believe that this is not a hurricane. With thunder going on in the recon, that might show that it is starting. There appears to be our warm spot again. I think this could make landfall near 70 knots.

Thanks. I make this one myself using google earth and the tracking points from the NHC. It's manually made because all the automatic versions stick that darn symbol on tracking points making it harder to see movement, in my opinion.

For those interested, I have a GRLevel3 radar loop with sat underlay and NHC forecast track overlay at http://orionweather.net/index.php?content=radar.html. It's currently on KCLX out of Charleston, but I will change sites as needed to follow Hanna.

Very nice... No way no how this makes landfall on NC. I doubt the NHC will upgrade at this point.

I am a Redcross DAT Volunteer up here in Portland Maine and I got a call this afternoon that we will be opening up some shelters in the event of flooding. I guess I am going to have a Busy weekend! We are also preparing to send some teams down to Florida to deal with Ike. I will keep you all posted on the developments up this way!
