They both weakened. Don't see anything developing.

This area still has a weak circulation
http://hadar.cira.colostate.edu/ramsdis ... ive_0.html

and while it's still over land, that could change soon

Aric can you post that radar in motion out of Alvarado again, I've got the still but can't find the animated one

A TC isn't going to form instantaneously if the LLC emerges over water. Give it up already.

If that was in reference to my post, I didn't say one would. So what is it that you would like me to give up.

I know it's hard to say goodbye, but lets let poor Arthur rest in peace.

Okay it's dead So now do you mind very **** much if I watch this for some type Tropical weather Since this a Tropical Weather Forum.
If You don't want to watch it then don't.
I'll keep posting whatever I want. Arthur's been dead for 2 days now. I get it. I enjoy trying to find areas that MIGHT develop if conditions become right. I don't want to see it damage anything.
If you have a problem with that, please feel free to turn your head, look the other way or just deal with it.

CYA "appears" :P They usually say "not likely" Hmmm....I know the shear is howling yet the satellite loops seem to indicate that its lessening down there (un-trained eye of course), and the 42055 buoy's pressure is dropping fast?

I'll respond to the trolls in the morning. :P "Goodnight Aurfer."

Moisture forecast to move north with surface pressures already dropping in the BoC? Will there be a new invest or will this all get credited to 91?

BELIZE CITY, Belize (AP) -- Flash flooding in Belize killed at least four people and left two others missing, victims of twin tropical storms that pummeled the small country over the weekend.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Alma swept over Belize hours before Tropical Storm Arthur formed unexpectedly Saturday in the Caribbean and roared ashore at the Mexico-Belize border. The storms flooded much of Central America and southern Mexico. One man was electrocuted in Nicaragua.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center said another tropical storm could form off the Caribbean coast of Mexico and Belize or in the Gulf of Mexico in the next two days.

The weekend storms took most of Belize's 300,000 residents by surprise.

Early Monday, flash flood waters swept away a home in southern Belize's Stann Creek Valley, killing a man, his wife and their 14-year-old daughter, according to relatives. The couple's 12-year-old son is missing and presumed dead.

"That flood just came right now, sudden one, and when I look I saw my nephew's house over there and I told him to get out," Bedford Ritchie told Channel 7. "It looks like he was trying to pack up his things and the water didn't give him any break. The water just come right up and picked up their house and took it down there and mashed it up."

Wellington McKenzie told Channel 7 that a friend died trying to help him rescue others in their neighborhood.

"He couldn't stand up no more, and he went underneath my house and there he drowned," McKenzie said. "They found him about two or three hours after."

Officials also were searching for a young boy who was pulled from his father's arms by floodwaters as the two tried to reach the safety of a mango tree.

"I went underneath the water and I bit my little boy in his hand, just to hold him, and by the time I came up back, he was gone," the boy's father, Philberto Roches, told Channel 7. "So I turned around and tried to find him and never did find him again."

The rising waters also left dozens stranded on the roofs of their homes, washed out a key bridge to the southern section of Belize and damaged highways.

Papaya plantations, shrimp farms and the country's three-month supply of rice also were wiped out.

While flood waters were receding, Prime Minister Dean Barrow said additional rains may force evacuations.

"We have the situation being constantly monitored and if it appears that there is going to be a resurgence, we will press these people again to evacuate," he said.

You've been around here long enough to know that you can never say never in the tropics... also, don't you think we had enough of a "lull" during the offseason? If a person wants to continue to monitor something, let him/her.

No worries. This sort of thing hardly ever happens around here.

Really.

These Bay of Campeche disturbances can take days to develop. Convection flare ups may continue till conditions are more favorable so they are always worth checking in on periodicaly.

I believe theres an LLC still with Arthurs remnents (which could explain the pressure drop correct me if I'm wrong), not much else though, and with the dry air, it won't get much of a chance. So I'd be shocked if they slapped an invest on it, considering it's pretty much a swirl of nothing.

EX-91E is still in Mexico.

it looks like its sucking X91E over to the BOC, is that possible? Also Veracruz is at 29.66 inches http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/MMVR.html not much wind but its out of the N and 40255 buoy is E at 21mph with itz pressure reading of 29.71 http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=42055 , is the shear just too much, because it sure is rotating and the dry air is slowly moving out? Didn't one of good models predict this?
