Seems like there is a 1000mb pressure splashed into 30 kt winds = 997-998mb.

When this gets into the north Atlantic above about 35-37N, where are they going to fly from? Are observations from Convair flights that Environment Canada might fly available online?

we are supposed to be going to Pope AFB... but that doesn't look like the case on google earth.... 5300 is taking a beeline for Patrick AFB or MacDill AFB.

Did anyone see any obs from the recon mission overnight? I didn't see anything on the NHC site. In 5am discussion Stewart talks about it, and the possibility of Kyle being stronger in the post-storm anaylsis.
