ATL: Marco : Tropical Storm - RECON Discussion

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Mon Oct 06, 2008 1:11 pm

Lets see how tiny is the center of TD 13. I think RECON will find TS winds.

Pojo, how was this mission organized since TD 13 developed so quickly? Did you guys had an idea of a possible mission for today?

It won't take long for each center pass. Hope they can find the system. ;-)

Sorry, of course no more recon, but why such a remark about a possible recon at 13:15 UTC?

we got word of the mission right around our normal POD time.... it was a RP mission... its monday after drill weekend...we had the extra people around for a mission. I was going to fly a normal morning mission and was pulled off that to fly the RP.... we have learned how to be flexible.

today's mission was a no-go... had the crews couldn't get a plane in time to fix the storm.... it was another RP mission.
