Just an example of how S2K handles a link

NHC homepage

Not enough contrast to regular text, IMHO. The color is blue instead of black, but I usually either add a bold or underline, or both, so my links stand out.

I wish links automatically were underlined.

Just a suggestion.

Thats not the NHC homepage. I think the links are fine, its the general way links are done.

Now it is, that was copied for a different thread, but I manually entered the NHC url just now.

I mean, I can tell they are different when looking for it, links are blue, text is black, but the contrast isn't strong enough for my taste.

Ok, just personal preference, and if you and most board members don't mind, then I can deal with it.

I just thought NHC Homepage was a little easier to pick out.

Edit to add: bedtime.

It underlines the link when you hover over it.

Do you normally hover the cursor over the text when reading?

Sometimes i hover over a sentence, sometimes not. You can usually tell a link because it's in blue and the regular text is in black. It's just something that has become commonplace in the internet world.

Quite a few websites set of links with something more than just a color change, is all I was saying, and usually, if it is just a color change, it is more dramatic then blue and black.

But if nobody else minds...

I can easily tell it's a link. I occasionally stop by a rather large political forum. The links on that site don't look any different than the regular text... you have to hover over the text until the cursor points it out, so people have to make a point to say, "here's the link... " or members just have to get lucky and find it. ;)

Try that for a while and then you'll appreciate how the blue links stand out here. :)
