Getting a 403 Forbidden error

#1 Postby Chacor » Sat Feb 07, 2009 10:24 pm

I'm getting a 403 Forbidden error when trying to access S2K:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /phpbb2/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm having to browse s2k via proxy. Any help?

Try from your normal IP address now Chacor. We've been banning spammers and you got caught up in a range we banned.

I'm also having a 403 Forbidden error. The only way I can access storm2k.org is by a proxy server. My current IP address is 87.196.226.151 wich I guess is in a blocked range (my ISP is Clix from Portugal).

I can only access S2K since today. It's been almost 3 weeks I couldn't log on to the site (I was even afraid you ran out of money). Checked almost everyday. I missed you!

EDIT: The problem remained even if I used different connections (in France, Belgium and Czech Republic) and different computers (under XP and OS X Leopard). And it looks like other people outside the US encountered this problem.

Sorry about that. :( The spammers have been hitting us fast & furiously and you apparently got caught up in one of the bans. I'm glad you're back, though. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I come back again because my Internet connection in Prague (Czech Republic) gets an error again - only with S2k. The one I have in Paris (I'm always between the 2 cities) works fine.

I don't know if you can fix something or not, if I may help or not, but I'd be very glad to see S2K normally.

All the best,

M.

What is the ip and the email addy you use in Prague? We'll look into it again. We have had to ban ranges in some areas because of the amount of spammers we are getting from some of those areas.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are being bombarded by spammers and unfortunately, some of our members have gotten caught up in the bans.
What ISP do you use at home and what is your IP?
