Editing Member Names

#1 Postby ColdFront77 » Thu Feb 06, 2003 8:06 pm

Are we able to edit/change our member names? I have tried to edit it a few times and after I submit it to update my name, it doesn't work. Thank you in advance.

Sure, Chad. I would like to change it to ColdFront77.

Also, my e-mail address is no longer FerroWX17@aol.com. It has been ColdFront77@comcast.net since Friday, November 1st, 2002. :)

If you don't mind me asking, why aren't we able to edit our own profiles?

Thank you very much.

I was unable to change my e-mail address after clicking "Submit." I see that it was changed, so you must have done so. :)

Hello Rob. Thank you. The year I was born won't change, my age would. You name suits you better, too. 8)

Yep...I figured I'd keep the name since it is what I really started out with.

Ok coldfront. think i got it figured out. It wont let you change your info unless you put your password in the password spot.. also have to put it in the confirm password location and the new password spot. then change what you want to change then scroll to the bottom and hit submit..... :D

Use your current password in all three of those fields. (unless you are looking to change the password too)

I see. Thanks for the explanation. I am sure I wasn't the only one having this "problem."

I am really enjoying myself with everyone, TWC Buddy's united, indeed. 8) :D

Sorry about the above post... that was me. Got logged off while browsing the forums and the result was a post by "Guest."

Thank you for your understanding.
