LARGE SCALE UPPER LEVEL CYCLONIC FLOW IS
SPINNING AROUND A 37N29W CYCLONIC CENTER.
That's the only mention from the TWD. Nothing was in the last TWO.

I agree, but remember the other azores systems earlier this season, one of them even had an eye feature and looked warm core but they never reached code red.

The other system was in June and we know that the SST at that time of the year aren't warm enough to support a tropical or subtropical system. Still, it doesn't mean that the system could have been subtropical.
