I can't understand why the Cuban INSMET doesn't ever mention this system.

This thing is completely dead, but people are still talking about it Meanwhile Patty is threatening Mexico as a hurricane in some of the models.

Yup, the remnant swirl is still firing convection. Could a resurrection occur before it comes ashore in Central America? Shear is not that bad, but there is little convergence.
