FOR THE CENTRAL NORTH PACIFIC...BETWEEN 140W AND 180

1. The Central Pacific Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Neki, currently located about 435 miles west northwest of Lihue, Hawaii. For additional information, see the latest public advisory under AWIPS header TCPCP2, or WMO header WTPA32 PHFO.

2. A few poorly organized thunderstorms persist within an area of disturbed weather 1125 miles southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii. Development, if any, within this area would be slow to occur as it continues moving to the west around 10 mph.


Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday evening.
