NW of Guam seemingly following the coattails of Kompasu. NRL site sat pic name:

From NWS Guam's satellite interpretation message:
A MONSOON TROUGH EXTENDS SOUTHEASTWARD FROM KOMPASU TO 13N137E.
WINDS CONVERGING NEAR THE TROUGH ARE PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WEST OF THE MARIANAS WITHIN 125 MILES OF A
LINE FROM 21N135E TO 10N140E.

No word on JMA's surface analysis.

If this follows the same NW path as Kompasu that will hinder any development right
