88 pages for a storm that lasted 12 hours. haha.

I gave up on this yesterday. I have a feeling that its going to go through the same cycle, of looking great during the day, and dissipating during the evening.

Forgive me if this has already been posted somewhere else in this discussion, But the HSU now considers Gaston to have briefly regenerated into a Tropical Depression on the 4th.

But it has to be stressed that this is the preliminary best track analysis and subject to some changes before it gets finalized sometime before next April with the release of the TCR.

Colin, thanks for the graphic. After 10 days of watching and worrying about this storm to see the "official" track just made me laugh....you would never know that it was of any interest to anybody....This place is great!

And so it ends. Just goes to show we still have alot to learn about cyclones, how they form, and the conditions.

I was one of those who was convinced that Gaston would make a comeback. Thankfully, that didn’t happen. Had it re-intensified, there might well have been lots of arguments about whether it should have kept the same name or not. So it’s better this way.

R.I.P Gaston!

I wasn't sure if it was going to re-develop or not but I have to admit that I was more on the side of re-development than on the side of puffing. Let's see if 92L does what Gaston didn't.

Folks it's been dead for nearly a week now.....let it go! It's not happening :D

I can't even imagine the traffic on here if something actually formed in the caribbean.

92L is a good candidate for that.

And to think, some on here thought Gaston was gonna be a huge and powerful storm.
Just goes to show, we really don't know much about these storms and why some live and some die.

So what's 92L that's showing 50%, remnants or something new in the same area?
