I don't think any models developed this last week. I may be wrong. So why should you trust them. I say Hurricane before landfall. Bath tub water and it's still heading north. So stick that up the models.
By the way. Everyone have a safe Labor Day. Season got a long way to go.So be ready and prepared. Heading to a cook out now. I've been elected to put the new grill together.

Mexico and Canada...
I thought it would be a decent western Gulf year on the onset...so far, it seems like it's coming to fruition.

The NAM may have just scored a major tropical coup with Hermine.

Can I just choose to ignore the 12Z NAM? It paints a very wet stormy picture for much of TX with a landfall between CRP and BRO if I am seeing it correctly. We are already starting to get some of the outer rains from Hermine. raining at the house now with a SLIGHT breeze.

According to the 12z model runs, the remnants of Hermine might lead to some interesting weather up here in Oklahoma around midweek. It looks like heavy, flooding rains could be a real possibility with an increased tornado threat as well. I will definitely be keeping a very close eye on this system!
