It's really getting hammered by that shear. I don't see how it survives as long as the NHC says under these conditions.

incredibly she does. Her center in that image looks better than Igors right now. Hopefully good news for Bermuda.

you know watching water vapor, et al, I can't figure out what she is doing. First it looked like she was going to be absorbed by Igor, but now she is getting a burst and now is she trying to be pulled into an outer band of Igors or not? I am really wondering how this is going to affect Igor in the end.

I wonder if she is why Igor is falling apart? She is cutting off some inflow into him I am sure, as well as "stealing" some of his energy.

Don't go by the extent of cold tops on IR when it comes to size, ESPECIALLY in this case!

Pretty much what is being forecast. A gradual spin down of Julia, with the remnants eventually being absorbed into what will be a ET-transitioning Igor, but not for several more days.

I brought up the fact that the models showed a loop of Julia yesterday and got little response. Let's just wait and see what happens I guess.
