Another surprise in the 2010 Atlantic hurricane season, Lisa didn't want to intensify when the NHC forecasted so and did intensify when the NHC said it won't.

Lisa seems to like becoming a hurricane toward the end of her track.

I don't want to say the "m" word, but if we are going to make a run at 9 "m" words, this would really open up the possibility of it happening.

Well Lisa, you made it to hurricane status! Now it looks like your midlevel center is shifting off toward the NE, while your LLC is kinda hanging about:

My namesake Lisa did what I needed her to do right? She was at some point, a hurricane?

Yep, be proud of her she became a category 1 Cape Verde hurricane (maybe the last one of the season).

Wow. It might sound strange, but I'm not just proud, I'm a bit humbled too.

Thanks all for helping me watch her.

(I'm totally bragging on my Facebook page about her.)

Yeah thats just a low level swirl now, nothing at all in terms of convection around, pretty much the end for Lisa...

So many analogies, so little time.

Farewell Lisa. I know exactly how you feel....
