Pretty kookie little girl out there all alone.
Not often we see a storm just west of the Cape Verde Islands just meandering.
She seems so lost............

She needs a lot more convection before an eye might peek through.

Poor Lisa, never caught favorable conditions to be a much stronger system.

Now this may be a first.
Lisa may want to return home, where she was born.

I have been sitting here waiting and hoping one of you guys who understands all this stuff would tell me what's up with Lisa. You see, this storm is my namesake and I am really annoyed she is putting on such a poor show! Is there no hope for Lisa? If she does go back to Africa, will the next system be Lisa or something else? I was so hoping she would evolve into a beautiful cat. 5 fish! :(

:uarrow: It was never expected to be a category 5, why did you believe that? Lisa is being affected mostly by dry air and that's why it has not intensified and actually has weakened some, though the appearence has been improving in the last few hours and it will become a tropical storm again but it may not even reah hurricane status. By the way, it will not go back to Africa and a more westward movement is expected to begin in the next day or so and even if it dissipates the next named storm would be Matthew because the name Lisa was already used with this storm.

:uarrow: Thanks for the info. Macrocane. To be clear, I didn't EXPECT Lisa to be a cat. 5, I was WISHING she would be a cat. 5 so I could enjoy bragging about it on my FB page. (I also wanted her to be a fish, btw. I'm not a storm sadist.)

:uarrow: You're welcome :) , now I understand you wished that Lisa was a cat 5 before this stormed formed and not after.
